Belgian stilt troupe stirs up Hue streets

Within the framework of the Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023, the street festival, also known as the street performance program, is organized by the Hue City Center for Culture, Information and Sports with many exciting and attractive performances by domestic and international artists and artisans. Especially on this occasion, there is the appearance of the Belgian Namur Stilt Art Troupe - a world cultural heritage - performing on the streets of Hue. The troupe has created a vibrant festival atmosphere, attracting participation and friendly exchanges between Hue people, artists and tourists.

We invite you to join the author: Tran Thanh Giang to admire the vivid and artistic images of stilt walkers from the Kingdom of Belgium through the photo series "The Belgian stilt walkers stir up the streets of Hue". The photo series was submitted by the author to the Happy Vietnam Photo and Video Contest, organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications.

The art troupes crossed the Phu Xuan Bridge over the Perfume River and ended the festival at the Hue City Cultural Center on Tran Hung Dao Street.

An art troupe from the Kingdom of Belgium performed on stilts on Hai Ba Trung walking street. The troupe has participated in many Hue Festivals in recent years, creating a good impression on audiences and tourists.

The art troupes performed through the main streets of Hue such as: Tran Hung Dao, Le Loi, Chu Van An, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Ba Trieu, Ha Huy Tap and combined movement with music and dance performances.

Amidst the sound of drums and applause from the tourists, the Belgian actor performed difficult poses on stilts.
