On the afternoon of January 13, speaking with Thanh Nien reporter, Mr. Truong Van Vy - Chairman of Khue Trung Ward, Cam Le District, Da Nang City said: "This morning (January 13), the ward's functional agencies were present to work at Seung Ri Taekwondo Club to clarify the content of the complaint. After working, the ward People's Committee made a record to temporarily suspend the activities of this club". The club will have to stop operating on January 14.
According to the Chairman of Khue Trung Ward, on the evening of January 9, NTH's parents went to the headquarters of Khue Trung Ward People's Committee to denounce the behavior of Taekwondo Club Coach Seung Ri, the ward police invited the representative of this club to work. Then this morning (January 13), the relevant agencies continued to work with the club representative once again.
"The People's Committee of Khue Trung Ward will proceed to make a record according to its authority. The remaining police agencies will continue to investigate and clarify the incident. This afternoon (January 13), we will have a specific report on the incident to the People's Committee of Cam Le District," Mr. Vy added.

On the afternoon of January 13, Mr. Nguyen Van Kin - Head Coach and Director of Seung Ri Taekwondo Club (Ho Nguyen Trung Street, Khue Trung Ward, Cam Le District, Da Nang City) went to Khue Trung Ward Police Station to give a second statement. Previously, Mr. Kin had gone to the police station to work on the evening of January 9, after receiving a complaint from the family about the student being beaten by the head coach at the above club.
After Coach Nguyen Van Kin returned from the police station to Seung Ri Taekwondo Club (Ho Nguyen Trung Street, Khue Trung Ward, Cam Le District, Da Nang City), Thanh Nien reporters were present to discuss. "After working with the authorities this morning (January 13), I also reported the incident and provided all relevant certificates regarding my taekwondo training. Because of the sensitive situation, the People's Committee has decided to temporarily suspend my club's activities until there is an official conclusion," said Coach Nguyen Van Kin.
According to coach Nguyen Van Kin, because the club will temporarily suspend operations from today (January 13), he decided to organize a talk to inform parents about the incident that just happened.
Previously, as Thanh Nien reported, on the evening of January 9, when he picked up his son and discovered signs of being beaten, Mr. NTH (residing in Hoa Xuan Ward, Cam Le District, Da Nang City) used his phone to take pictures of all the marks on his son's body, and reported to the Da Nang city hotline about the serious violation of the child's body. At the same time, Mr. NTH took his son to Khue Trung Ward Police Station to work. Khue Trung Ward Police Station instructed Mr. NTH to take his son to the hospital to check for injuries. After the examination, Mr. NTH took his son back to Khue Trung Ward Police Station to get a detailed statement from NTNM. In addition, Mr. NTH also provided the phone number of Coach Nguyen Van Kin at the request of the police, and the police invited Coach Nguyen Van Kin to work on the evening of January 9.
