The military parade on Luc Dau River is one of the important contents of the annual Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival, restored and upgraded since 2006. This is a unique and grandiose art program, attracting hundreds of martial artists, amateur actors, and many lion and dragon dance teams from all over the country to participate. This is the only military parade on the river in Vietnam, within the framework of a festival that has become a national intangible cultural heritage.

In 2006, the Army Assembly Ceremony on the Luc Dau River was restored. Since then, every time the Festival is held, tens of thousands of people and tourists have flocked to the banks of the Luc Dau River to enjoy it. This unique festival has recreated the strength of our ancestors in the past. A section of the Luc Dau River rolls, the image of our ancestors from more than 7 centuries ago is recreated in an extremely heroic manner. Thousands of eyes follow the boats in the middle of the river covered with red alluvium.
Hundreds of martial arts students of Vo Nhat Nam sect, dragon and lion dance teams, flags and drums, along with 32 boats are reenacting our ancestors' parade on the Luc Dau Giang river, which is famous throughout the Kiep Bac region.
The strong warriors performing martial arts to the urging of festival drums recall the parade preparing the resistance forces in Dong Bo Dau in August 1284 and the gathering of 200,000 troops in Van Kiep in 1285 with the spirit of "Killing the Mongols surpasses the Ngau star/ The heroic spirit of Dong A reaches the sky".

In 2024, the Photo and Video Contest "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam" continues to be organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists on the website https://happy.vietnam.vn for all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and over. The contest aims to honor individuals and groups with positive information products, making practical contributions to the propaganda and promotion of beautiful images of Vietnam to the world. Thereby helping people in the country, compatriots abroad and international friends access authentic images of the country, Vietnamese people, Vietnam's achievements in ensuring human rights, towards a happy Vietnam.
