The medical industry has the highest benchmark score of 27.73, according to the announcement on August 23 by Hanoi Medical University (HMU).

Hanoi Medical University takes the admission score based on the high school graduation exam results from 19 to 27.73. Of which, the highest score is for the medical major. There are 209 students admitted to the major by this method and 73 others are directly admitted.

If you have an international language certificate, candidates applying for the Medical major only need to score 26 points. This major is trained at the Thanh Hoa branch with a score of 26.39.

Similar to every year, the Dentistry major has the second highest standard score with 27.5 points. The major with the lowest standard score is Nursing at Thanh Hoa branch with 19 points.

This year, Hanoi Medical University increased its enrollment quota by 200 compared to last year, bringing the total number of students to 1,370. The school maintains two stable methods: considering high school graduation exam scores and considering a combination of English or French certificates and exam scores.

In addition, the school directly admits candidates who have won national and international prizes according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. 129 candidates were admitted by this method, of which 106 were admitted to the Medical Faculty.

Tuition fees at Hanoi Medical University this year are expected to increase by about 1.3 to 3.5 times compared to last year. The six majors of Medicine, Traditional Medicine, Ophthalmology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Rehabilitation Technology and Nursing, advanced training programs in Hanoi, are in the group that must ensure regular expenses. This group has expected tuition fees from 41.8 to 55.2 million VND per year.

The remaining group is units that partially self-finance regular expenses, earning from 20.9 to 27.6 million VND, including Dentistry, Preventive Medicine, Public Health, Nutrition, Medicine and Nursing at Thanh Hoa branch.

Last year, the benchmark score for Hanoi Medical University was from 19 to 28.15, the highest for Medicine, the lowest for Nursing at Thanh Hoa branch.
