Quang Nam Tax Department said that the estimated state budget revenue in 2024 assigned by the Ministry of Finance is 19,605 billion VND; while the Provincial People's Council assigned (estimated) 20,100 billion VND. If excluding revenue from land use fees and lottery of 2,800 billion VND, the estimated state budget revenue is 17,300 billion VND.
From the beginning of the year to September 30, 2024, the total budget revenue in the province reached VND 11,545 billion. However, if including the tax amount extended according to the Government's decrees, the total budget revenue reached VND 15,195 billion, reaching 75.6% of the estimate and equal to 96.6% compared to the same period.
Central state-owned enterprise (SOE) sector: cumulative revenue including extended tax is 599 billion VND, reaching 71.7% of the estimate. Local state-owned enterprise sector: cumulative revenue including extended tax is 71.2 billion VND, corresponding to 101.8% of the estimate. Foreign-invested enterprise sector: cumulative revenue including extended tax is 1,016 billion VND, reaching 68.6% of the estimate.
Non-state industrial, commercial and service tax: Cumulative revenue including extended tax is VND 10,303 billion, reaching 82.5% of the estimate. This is mainly due to tax payments from passenger cars, reaching VND 1,493 billion in January 2024.
However, from February to June, car sales have been continuously decreasing. It is forecasted that car sales will improve from September 2024 due to tax reduction policies.
Personal income tax: Cumulative revenue reached 822 billion VND, reaching 94.4% of the estimate, up 20% over the same period. Land use fee: Cumulative revenue reached 682 billion VND, reaching only 25.3% of the estimate and equal to 50.1% over the same period. Other revenue sources: Cumulative environmental protection tax reached 327 billion VND, reaching 88.3% of the estimate; registration fee collected 255 billion VND, reaching 85% of the estimate; revenue from lottery activities reached 84 billion VND, reaching 84% of the estimate...
Propaganda and support for taxpayers is one of the important tasks of the Tax Department. In the first 9 months of 2024, the entire tax sector published 508 news articles on the media, helping taxpayers promptly grasp tax policies and practically supporting the timely fulfillment of tax obligations.
In addition to propaganda work, the Tax Department also focuses on tax declaration management, tax accounting and tax refund; tax inspection and examination. Tax debt management and tax debt enforcement are focused with debt collection results reaching 3,327 billion VND in the first 9 months of 2024.
In the remaining 3 months of 2024, the Tax Department said it will continue to strengthen its direction to complete the task of collecting state budget revenue. The whole industry will focus on managing declarations and supervising tax declaration records, with special attention to controlling export value-added tax refund records and investment projects.
