
Mr. Pham Trong - Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Regional Branch 9, said that by the end of March, the mobilized capital in the area was estimated at VND100,972 billion (up 0.69% compared to the beginning of the month, up 3.26% compared to the beginning of the year). Of which, mobilized capital in domestic currency was estimated at VND99,188 billion (accounting for nearly 98.23% of total mobilized capital, up 0.7% compared to the beginning of the month, up 3.39% compared to the beginning of the year); mobilized capital in foreign currency converted to Vietnamese Dong increased 0.67% compared to the beginning of the month, down 3.84% compared to the beginning of the year.
Classifying mobilized capital by term, demand-side mobilization and mobilization with a term of up to 12 months is estimated at VND 70,909 billion (accounting for 70.23% of total mobilization); capital with a term of over 12 months accounts for 29.77%. Mobilized capital meets 87.16% of credit capital demand in the area.
It is estimated that by the end of March 2025, outstanding loans of commercial banks in the province will reach VND 115,852 billion. Of which, outstanding credit for the agriculture - forestry - fishery sector will reach VND 12,593 billion (accounting for 10.87% of total outstanding loans in the province); credit for the industry and construction sector will reach VND 32,566 billion (accounting for 28.11% of total outstanding loans); credit for the trade - service sector will reach VND 70,693 billion (accounting for about 61.02% of total outstanding loans).

Classifying outstanding debt by economic type, business households and individuals account for the highest proportion of outstanding debt at 59.26%; outstanding debt of limited liability companies accounts for 27.44%; outstanding debt of joint stock companies accounts for 7.81%; the remaining economic sectors account for a low proportion of the total outstanding debt of the Quang Nam economy.
By the end of March, bad debt at credit institutions in Quang Nam was VND2,050 billion (1.77% rate, up 20.45% compared to the previous month).
