During the implementation process, Project 02 has always received the attention and direction of the Provincial Standing Committee, the active participation of the entire political system in the province, especially the active response of cadres, party members, union members, association members and people of all walks of life, bringing about positive results. The propaganda and mobilization work has been focused on promoting the spirit of solidarity of all classes of people. In particular, awareness of building a cultural and civilized lifestyle (VH-VM), self-awareness and voluntary participation in building a VH-VM lifestyle of the people have been raised; actions for the community have increased and spread in many fields, especially actively participating in environmental protection, contributing to urban renovation and upgrading, and mutual love activities. Thereby, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people, creating an increasingly spacious and clean urban and rural appearance.

The movement to build rural roads spreads strongly.

In the role of leading advisor, in recent times, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Di An City Party Committee has advised the City Party Committee to organize many activities to spread Project 02 to every citizen. The launching sessions across the city to implement "Civilized Saturday" have attracted hundreds of participants. At the same time, the city has also regularly organized mass mobilization campaigns across the city and in 7 wards. From the mass mobilization campaigns, the city has deployed the content of building a "4-good" city, building the image of "5-model citizens"; building the image of Di An people with the typical cultural features of "Compassion, affection, civilized behavior"; implementing the content of building a "3-no" city, building a "Green City", "Park City", "Urban Civilized Alley"...

As a young city, Tan Uyen City has also made many remarkable changes in implementing Project 02. Typically, communes and wards in Tan Uyen City have implemented the review of investment in new construction and repair to meet prescribed standards; reviewed public land funds to renovate and build parks, flower gardens, and public playgrounds to serve the spiritual life of the people. At the same time, communes and wards in the area have implemented the renovation of sidewalks, removed illegal advertisements to create urban beauty and registered to practice a clean - beautiful - safe cultural and moral lifestyle.

Mr. Tran Thanh Van, a resident of Quarter 1, Uyen Hung Ward, said that Project 02 is not simply an action program, but has a broad vision, clearly identifying the key role of mass mobilization work in arousing the inner strength of the people, creating consensus and joining hands in building a cultural and democratic lifestyle. "After a period of implementation, I see that Project 02 has created positive and strong changes in awareness and action, forming cultural and democratic habits and lifestyles of the people," Mr. Van added.

Spreading “Civilized Saturday”

It can be seen that, in the process of implementing Project 02, the implementation of "Civilized Saturday" has been responded to by localities and units with many creative and effective ways; coordination has been strengthened, many resources have been mobilized, and social investment has been mobilized. Each neighborhood, hamlet, commune, and ward has focused on urban beautification and upgrading, building parks, flower gardens, flower roads, model roads, installing lighting systems, security cameras, asphalting, and concrete roads and alleys more and more.

Notably, Phu Hoa Ward, Thu Dau Mot City, has recently organized 27 "Civilized Saturday" campaigns at locations and alleys spread across 9/9 neighborhoods. In 2024 alone, the ward had 250 clean-up campaigns in neighborhoods with more than 4,400 participants. In addition, the ward has also built typical models, such as: "3T Alley: Self-awareness - self-management - self-implementation", "3 An Residential Area: Safety - security - welfare" in Hoang Nam 2 residential area. At the same time, the ward has also mobilized socialization to implement concrete and asphalt roads and alleys; traffic works, national flag roads, flower roads, installation of security cameras, bright, green, clean, beautiful roads; establishment of an Urban Environmental Management Team and effective operation...

In Binh Phuoc A Quarter, Binh Chuan Ward, Thuan An City, in the past time, this locality has also successfully implemented "Civilized Saturday" associated with implementing models of garbage-free neighborhoods, civilized urban roads, planting flower beds... The Neighborhood Management Board organized more than 30 "Civilized Saturday" campaigns with 900 participants. Thereby, the neighborhood has carried out environmental sanitation, removed advertisements, planted trees and ornamental flowers on the streets, integrated leaflets to propagate waste classification at source, not raising free-range dogs, cultural behavior in the community, implementing digital transformation... In 2024, the Neighborhood Management Board successfully completed its tasks; the neighborhood achieved the title of cultural neighborhood and was recognized as "Garbage-free neighborhood"...

It can be affirmed that, with the high determination of the Party committees, the government and the consensus of the people, Project 02 has been contributing to building Binh Duong into a civilized, modern, humane and livable city. This is not only a project, but also a symbol of the aspiration to rise up and build a livable environment for the people of Binh Duong...
