Carrying out the digital transformation task, while implementing Project 06 of the Prime Minister on "developing the application of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation, period 2022 - 2025, vision to 2030"; Xanh Pon Hospital is one of the first hospitals in Hanoi to implement and mark positive results in deploying electronic health records and cashless payments.

According to the digital transformation program of the health sector, the Ministry of Health clearly identifies that by 2025, it is necessary to build a smart health system with three main contents: smart disease prevention; smart medical examination and treatment and smart health management. Along with that, striving for the goal from now to 2030 to meet 100% of online public services provided on various access devices, including mobile devices. Medical examination and treatment facilities urgently deploy electronic medical records, not using paper medical records.

To achieve that goal, Xanh Pon Hospital has prioritized resources to simultaneously deploy many solutions, mobilizing the full participation of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers to carry out digital transformation to improve the medical examination and treatment system.

Instead of queuing to get a number, at Xanh Pon Hospital, right from the entrance, there are many kiosks for people to register for medical examination.

Specifically, Xanh Pon General Hospital is one of 70 hospitals implementing electronic medical records to completely replace paper medical records. Electronic medical records, when widely deployed and connected between medical facilities, will bring benefits not only to patients and doctors, but also greatly reduce costs when using paper medical records, helping to optimize the medical examination and treatment process. On the other hand, it helps synchronize information from admission to discharge, saving time for doctors and patients, increasing transparency and reducing risks for patients.

Currently, instead of queuing to get a number, at Xanh Pon Hospital, right at the entrance, there are many kiosks for people to register for medical examination. The screen will display service options according to people's needs such as: medical examination according to the right health insurance line, health insurance line, registration for service examination and registration for fee-based examination. The operation is simple and quick, so many people have chosen to register for medical examination at Xanh Pon Hospital in this form.

In particular, to help people who come to the clinic to conveniently monitor their health, especially the elderly and people with chronic diseases, Xanh Pon Hospital has built a medical examination application. The application "Xanh Pon General Hospital" can be used on iOS and Android platforms, all information from examination results, tests, treatments, drug prices, supplies... used during treatment are all announced in a detailed, transparent and clear manner. The application even has many utilities to overcome, serve the need to find information about diseases, medical staff, and at the same time provide information on policies and guidelines for medical examination and treatment of the medical sector.

Along with improving medical examination and treatment, Xanh Pon Hospital is also promoting a cashless payment system for outpatient and inpatient medical examination and treatment services and temporary hospital fees.

Immediately after the Hanoi Department of Health announced that from June 1, 2024, the one-stop department of medical units under the Department must deploy cashless fee payment solutions, striving for 100% cashless transactions, Xanh Pon Hospital also quickly deployed to ensure efficiency, speed and convenience.
