Although he is over 60 years old, Mr. Dung still works diligently every day at his family's production and business establishments.

With many years of experience as a veterinarian in the commune, along with a little accumulated capital and more than 2 hectares of garden land given by his parents, Mr. Dung discussed with his family about opening a store selling animal feed to serve farmers in and outside the commune. At the same time, the Farmers' Association of Binh Trung commune promoted and launched a movement for farmers to compete in production and good business.

Every year, Mr. Dung registers to participate in the movement and actively participates in training sessions, seminars, and transfers of new scientific and technological advances organized by the Department of Agriculture. In addition, he always seeks to learn about economic development models through the media and the Internet and realizes that the pig farming model is highly economically efficient and suitable for his family's conditions, so Mr. Dung boldly invests.

According to Mr. Dung, the early days of starting a business were not without difficulties, lack of experience, rampant epidemics, and unstable market prices caused him many difficulties. However, with his perseverance and eagerness to learn, he constantly sought knowledge, participated in training courses on livestock farming techniques, proactively prevented and controlled epidemics, and gradually stabilized and developed his pig farm. The average income was from 350 million to 400 million VND/year.

Realizing the increasing demand for veterinary services and livestock products, Mr. Dung decided to expand his business to the field of veterinary medicine. With his understanding of the livestock industry and his acquired expertise, his veterinary medicine store gradually became a trusted address for farmers in and outside the commune.

By around 2020, pig farming was difficult due to complicated pig diseases. Mr. Dung and many people did not re-herd, and the business of medicine and livestock products saw a sharp decline in purchasing power. After many nights of thinking and researching the market, Mr. Dung decided to expand his business line to produce bottled drinking water.

Mr. Dung recalled: “At that time, the bottled water industry was still new, not many people were doing it. When calculating the difference between pig farming and bottled water production, I found that water production was less risky. This was an essential need of the people, especially in the dry season when the demand for water increased, so I decided to focus my capital on investing in the factory to produce bottled water and stop raising pigs.”

With a long-term vision and bold investment in modern equipment and production technology, his family's Dung Quyen water production facility was born, providing quality products, ensuring a safe water source for users.

The close connection between the fields, from livestock farming, veterinary services to drinking water production, not only helps his family maximize resources, minimize risks but also creates a value chain, increasing family income. He and his wife have built a spacious house, their two children have been educated and have stable jobs.

Success in business not only brings a prosperous life to Mr. Dung's family, but also creates conditions for him to actively contribute to the development of the locality. He is always willing to share his experiences and provide technical support to farmers in the area, helping them increase the efficiency of their livestock farming and improve their lives.

Every year, Mr. Dung supports about 20 - 30 million VND to build rural roads, support funds to reward poor but studious students, support Tet gifts for the poor, and mobilize donors to support bicycles for local students. In addition, Mr. Dung also helps 20 pig farming households that have lost capital and have interest-free debts of about 2 billion VND...

With outstanding achievements over the years, Mr. Nguyen Nghia Dung has been honored to receive many Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit from local authorities at all levels.
