In recent times, Intergenerational Self-Help Clubs (IGCs) in Tien Giang province have contributed to helping the elderly improve their lives, spread the spirit of mutual support and self-help, and become a support for them.
Implementing the project to replicate the model of the LTHTGN Club, in the first quarter, the Associations of the Elderly at all levels focused on consolidating and improving the quality of activities of the existing LTHTGN Clubs, mobilizing the establishment of 2 new LTHTGN Clubs, the newly established Club was supported by the Provincial Association of the Elderly with 1 Amplifier, 1 blood pressure monitor, and 1 health scale. Up to now, the whole province has 339 LTHTGN Clubs, with 17,945 participating members.

In the second quarter of 2025, the Tien Giang Provincial Association of the Elderly will continue to implement Decision 1336/QD-TTg dated August 31, 2020 of the Prime Minister on approving the Project to replicate the model of LTHTGN Clubs for the period up to 2025 and Decision No. 506/QD-UBND dated March 5, 2021 of the Provincial People's Committee on promulgating the Project to replicate the model of LTHTGN Clubs for the period 2021 - 2025 in Tien Giang province, promoting the establishment of LTHTGN Clubs in places with sufficient conditions and consolidating and improving the operational efficiency of existing LTHTGN Clubs.
The results of the activities of the LTHTGN Club model of Tien Giang province have brought great significance to the elderly and people in difficult circumstances in the community. The Club has contributed to helping the elderly and disadvantaged people, who aspire to continue to contribute and live a meaningful life for their families and society.
