On the afternoon of July 2, under the chairmanship of Comrade Thai Thanh Quy, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee, the Provincial Military Party Committee held a conference to issue a Resolution on leadership in implementing tasks for the last 6 months of 2024. Attending the conference were Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh, Commander of Military Region 4; Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Colonel Phan Dai Nghia, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command.

From the results of leadership, thoroughly grasping and implementing the excellent completion of goals and targets in performing military and defense tasks and building a comprehensively strong agency and unit "Exemplary, typical"; as well as the work of building a strong Party organization in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres... the Provincial Military Party Committee has unanimously determined the general direction and goals for the last 6 months of the year.

Accordingly, it will continue to thoroughly lead and strictly implement the direction of the Military Region, Provincial Party Committee, and Provincial People's Committee on military and defense tasks; advise and direct the organization of defense zone drills and flood and storm prevention and search and rescue drills in districts and towns in 2024; complete the military and defense goals, targets, and tasks according to the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term and the tasks set out in 2024; well prepare all aspects for the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; organize activities to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the traditional day of the provincial and Military Region Armed Forces; the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day; maintain stability and ensure absolute safety in all aspects; Improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party committees, Party organizations, and agency and unit leaders to successfully and excellently complete assigned tasks.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung announced some outstanding results of the province's socio-economic development in the first 6 months of the year. Through this, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also affirmed that the results of the military and defense tasks have had a very positive impact on the stable development of the province. Agreeing with the tasks for the last 6 months of the year, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes to continue to have the close support of the provincial armed forces in the upcoming tasks. At the same time, he requested the Military Region 4 Command to pay attention to helping the Provincial Military Command complete the dossier to recognize the title of Hero of the Armed Forces in the renovation period.

Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh - Commander of Military Region 4 informed the conference about the outstanding situation of the world, the region, the country as well as the Military Region. Appreciating the stability of political security and economic growth of Nghe An, the Commander of Military Region also acknowledged the attention of Party committees and authorities at all levels towards military agencies and units stationed in the area. Along with that, he praised the innovations and breakthroughs in military recruitment, training, combat readiness, etc.

On that basis, the Commander of the Military Region proposed more comprehensive staff work for local Party committees and authorities in all aspects of work. Particularly in the last 6 months of the year, Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh suggested paying attention to and preparing personnel well for the following years; promoting the emulation movement to celebrate the founding day of the Vietnam People's Army. Each agency and unit should pay special attention to ensuring means and forces to be able to participate promptly and effectively in flood and storm prevention and search and rescue when situations arise.

Concluding the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee Thai Thanh Quy fully accepted the instructions of the Military Region Commander. Emphasizing solidarity and maintaining discipline as decisive factors for successful implementation of tasks, the Provincial Party Secretary further noted the absolute safety in tasks, firmly grasping the ideology of cadres and soldiers. Direct the development of projects on important combat works and commune-level Military Command headquarters for the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to approve.
