Registering for the 2024 high school graduation exam, what should independent candidates note?

All 12th grade students in the 2023-2024 school year must register to take the high school graduation exam online on the exam management system (address http://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn) using the account provided by the school.

Independent candidates will register for the exam directly, not online like 12th grade students; the exam registration location is determined by the Department of Education and Training.

The Ministry of Education and Training notes that independent candidates with transcripts from a high school program must register for the exam according to the regulations for that program.

In case a candidate has lost the original high school transcript and wishes to take the exam in 2024, he/she must have a certified copy of the transcript issued or a copy of the high school academic results, or be confirmed by the Department of Education and Training (based on comparison with the records of the high school where he/she studied grade 12 or based on the exam records of previous exams).

Depending on the purpose of the exam and the choice of subject combinations for university and college admission, independent candidates can choose the entire exam or just choose some appropriate component subjects.

After submitting the exam registration form, independent candidates will be given an account and password by the exam registration unit to log into the exam management system at http://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn.

Hanoi announces high school graduation exam registration locations for independent candidates

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just announced a list of 30 locations to receive registration forms for independent candidates for the 2024 high school graduation exam.

Accordingly, candidates residing in a district, town or city must register for the exam at the Department of Education and Training of that district, town or city.

The 2024 high school graduation exam will take place on June 27 and 28. Hanoi expects about 116,000 12th graders to register for the exam.
