Breakthrough in training in Refrigeration Engineering
On April 10, 2025, the handover ceremony of the HVAC Solution Practice Center between Panasonic Vietnam and the University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) took place on the school campus. The event marked a new development in the cooperative relationship between businesses and schools, aiming to train a team of engineers with professional competence and the ability to adapt well to the global labor market.

Through the lab, students and lecturers have access to, operate and research on comprehensive air systems, including air conditioning, ventilation systems, fans, air filtration technology and CAMS air quality monitoring systems. This is an opportunity for students to observe the entire actual operating cycle of HVAC solutions, from the cooling principle of residential air conditioning (RAC), to the outstanding energy saving ability of the VRF-FSV commercial air conditioning system - Panasonic's flagship product line.
Speaking at the handover ceremony of the HVAC Solution Practice Center, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Giang, Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering , emphasized that Panasonic's HVAC lab is not only an important step forward in improving the quality of training but also creates opportunities for students to access advanced technology, helping to develop practical skills and better prepare for their careers after graduation.
"The school really appreciates the support from Panasonic, which helps students have more access to advanced technologies, while improving the quality of teaching and research at the school," Mr. Giang shared.
The practical sessions at the center not only help students become familiar with the actual operating procedures of modern air systems but also train their analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. These are essential skills for students when entering the professional working environment later.
Students can visit and experience the equipment at the practice center.
Along with the handover of the HVAC Solution Practice Center, Panasonic also equipped the school's reading room with air conditioners, ventilation fans and lighting, contributing to improving the learning environment for students and creating the best learning conditions for the future generation of young engineers.
"Practicing on modern systems helps us understand more deeply how HVAC solutions operate in reality. This is a very important foundation to confidently apply for engineering positions after graduation as well as increase competitiveness in a flat world ," said Duong Thi Ngoc Anh, a student of K66, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering .
Persistent "for people"
The official opening of the international standard HVAC Solution Practice Center at the University of Civil Engineering is a new milestone in the sustainable journey of Panasonic Vietnam. This is also a testament to the Japanese enterprise's steadfast commitment to spreading the philosophy of humanity that its founder Matsushita Konosuke initiated a century ago.
Solution testing center is fully equipped with modern equipment
Mr. Matsushita Konosuke believes that the role and mission of a business is to fulfill people's desire to "live a more prosperous and abundant life".
For more than 50 years of operation in Vietnam, Panasonic has always aimed to contribute to sustainable development and improve the quality of life for society through comprehensive healthcare solutions.

In particular, nanoe™X air filtration technology has developed to the 3rd generation and is one of the most advanced air filtration technologies today.
In the same spirit, Panasonic constantly strives to contribute to the development of society through practical activities, includingeducation and training of high-quality human resources.
Continuously contribute to the development of society
Before the University of Construction , Panasonic Vietnam also handed over HVAC practice centers to the University of Technology - Ho Chi Minh City National University and Can Tho University. These activities are the first steps in building a training cooperation network with leading universities across the country, contributing to training the future generation of engineers and promoting social development.
Mr. Vo Van Hoang, representative of Panasonic Vietnam, shared that supporting human resource training for the Refrigeration Engineering industry is an important part of the company's development strategy, aiming to enhance Vietnam's international competitiveness in the HVAC field.
"With global experience in the HVAC industry, a field that is increasingly playing a key role in sustainable infrastructure development, we pay special attention to training and developing young human resources, thereby contributing to enhancing Vietnam's international competitiveness," said Mr. Hoang.
Putting people at the center of sustainable development and innovation strategy, Panasonic representative emphasized that the group will always be steadfast in its commitment to Building a solid foundation for future generations.
