On the morning of February 17 (January 8), Ngoc Lac district held an incense offering ceremony at the Trung Tuc Vuong Le Lai Temple (Thanh Son village, Kien Tho commune). Representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Ngoc Lac district, along with a large number of people and tourists, attended the ceremony.

The incense offering ceremony began with the procession of the palanquin to the temple amidst the bustling sound of drums and gongs. Delegates, people and tourists together reviewed the nation's tradition of fighting against foreign invaders and the great contributions of Trung Tuc Vuong Le Lai in the resistance war against the invading Ming army.
In the spring of 1418, King Le Loi of Binh Dinh initiated and led the Lam Son Uprising to drive out the invading Ming army. After 10 years of hardship and hardship, the uprising ended in victory in 1427.
In the year of Mau Than 1428, Le Loi ascended the throne, taking the reign name Thuan Thien, and to commemorate his merits, the king posthumously awarded General Le Lai the title "First Founding Meritorious Minister".

In the second year of Thuan Thien (1429), the king ordered Nguyen Trai to write two copies of the oath and gratitude to Le Lai, put them in a golden box and appointed him as Thai Uy, respectfully placed them in his palace. At the same time, he ordered Dung Tu village to build a temple to worship Le Lai and cut 10 hectares of rice fields for the ceremony.
After more than 5 years on the throne, before his death, Le Loi told his children and grandchildren that he had achieved what he had today thanks to Le Lai, so he had to hold a memorial service for Le Lai first, so that Le Lai could enjoy the ceremony before the king. On August 22, Quy Suu year (1433), the Thai To Cao Hoang De Le Loi passed away. The kings who succeeded to the throne, following the Thai To's instructions, held a memorial service for Le Lai on the 21st day of the 8th lunar month, so that August 22 would be the king's memorial service.

Trung Tuc Vuong Le Lai Temple (Tep Temple) was built in his hometown (Thanh Son village, Kien Tho commune) as a place for later generations to show their respect and admiration for the famous general of the Le Dynasty - a shining example of loyalty to the country, and to commemorate his merits.

The incense offering ceremony of Trung Tuc Vuong Le Lai is an expression of respect and infinite gratitude to the beloved son of the homeland who bravely fought and sacrificed for the independence of the country. At the same time, it contributes to educating the tradition of patriotism and national pride among the people, thereby promoting the spirit of solidarity, high determination, and striving to successfully build Ngoc Lac district into a new rural district before 2025, and one of the three leading districts in the mountainous area of Thanh Hoa province.
