The 2025 Thailand Film Festival in Vietnam will take place from March 28 to 31, marking the return of the event since its last organization in 2016.

The event was co-organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce of Thailand.

This year's festival is held under the theme "Celebrating Stories, Sharing Culture" to more deeply connect Thai culture and art with Vietnamese audiences.

According to the representative of the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Thailand in Ho Chi Minh City, the goal of the event is to narrow the cultural gap, strengthen friendship, and enhance the connection between the two countries. At the same time, it also helps to enhance mutual understanding, creating opportunities for the two countries to exchange ideas and experiences through cinema.

In addition to screening recent Thai films, the event also features trade activities to build business partnerships, support creative content development, and promote collaboration in film production.

Within the framework of the event, in addition to the work selected to open the show, My Dear Bear, there are also 2 other films: The Up Rank and 404 Run Now .

404 Run Now was commercially released in Vietnam at the end of 2024, had a Vietnamese dubbed version and achieved very high revenue, over 105 billion.

After the event, his movie Bear will also be commercially released from April 4. The dubbed version of the movie features the participation of actors: Meritorious Artist Dai Nghia, Minh Du, Long Chun, Huynh Bao Ngoc, Le Nam...
