With over 20 years of pursuing fashion, designer Viet Hung is always searching for new materials to turn ideas into unique designs.
Viet Hung said he loves Vietnamese handicrafts, including knitting.
"I want to introduce the beauty of Vietnamese people's hard work, diligence, and perseverance, weaving dreams through each piece of fabric.
As a designer, I want to convey the message of environmental protection from artisans through each design and style," designer Viet Hung told Tuoi Tre Online.
The fabrics used in this collection are also environmentally friendly, made from recycled fibers.
He shared his opinion: "Living in a culturally healthy environment with a clean climate is paradise.
Why don't we create value from the smallest things, towards sustainable fashion, protecting our paradise?"

Southern lotus in fashion
The Spring Bib Collection includes 25 designs, inspired by lotus flowers.
Designer Viet Hung chose purple-pink - the typical color of the Southern lotus petals - as the main color. In addition, he also combined the orange-yellow color of the lotus pistil and the brown color of mud and soil.
Nowadays, there are many designers and he has also made thousands of designs inspired by lotus flowers, but the lotus in Yem Xuan has its own unique characteristics in color and shape.
"I am happy because I never run out of ideas. Each collection has its own unique features that do not overlap with anyone else's" - Viet Hung affirmed.

Taking advantage of the inherent roughness of recycled materials, Viet Hung skillfully creates designs with suitable shapes. Even recycled fabrics help make the designs more unique.
"Designs made from environmentally friendly materials are difficult to compete with other materials because of the high cost. On the other hand, the design time on recycled materials takes longer than other materials, but that does not mean I limit the use of recycled materials" - Viet Hung emphasized.
Recently, crochet fashion is loved by young people, especially Gen Z generation, because it brings a youthful and comfortable feeling to the wearer.
On the other hand, the design from crochet is environmentally friendly, aiming towards sustainable fashion trends.
