On the evening of November 14, Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week 2024 held its second show at Quan Ngua Sports Palace (Ba Dinh, Hanoi), with the participation of brands and designers: Canifa by Le Ha, Chula Fashion, Cao Minh Tien, Ivan Tran and The Mad Lab by Pham Tran Thu Hang.

Chula Fashion brand - "Cinema" collection

Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week 2024 welcomes the first appearance of the Spanish brand Chula Fashion, co-founded by designer duo Laura Fontan Pardo and Diego Cortizas.

Chula Fashion tells the story of cinema through the "Cinema" collection. More than just a debut, the collection is a tribute to the rich history of cinema.

Long dresses with motifs depicting classic movie characters, along with some unique images associated with the cinema such as film reels, film cameras, movie tickets, popcorn... bring a feeling that is both nostalgic and modern.

Designer duo Laura Fontan Pardo - Diego Cortizas chose black and white as the main colors in the collection. The contrasting colors are cleverly arranged, creating an attractive contrast. From there, it helps viewers associate the visual techniques in traditional black and white films, as well as honoring the minimalist and luxurious style.

In addition, the humor and joy of cinema are also conveyed through bright colors in some designs.

Designer Cao Minh Tien - collection "Slowly"

With the desire to integrate Vietnamese cultural identity with world fashion, designer Cao Minh Tien launched the collection "Dung Dinh".

Hoang Kim Ngoc wears a unique outfit to open the fashion show (Video: Tien Bui).

In this collection, the designer uses rare brocade materials from Japan, combined with motifs imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity. The collection not only recreates traditional beauty, but also creates a cultural exchange imbued with art.

Part one depicts the journey from initial sketches to final product, with brown, beige, white, and red-accented costumes that resemble pages from a living diary.

Part two depicts the characteristics of designer Cao Minh Tien. He introduces the Mother Goddess worship belief through the lens of fashion.

The designer cleverly incorporates shapes and details in the costumes of the mediums such as the multi-layered ao dai, the scarf, and a variety of color combinations, creating designs that are both familiar and new.

Designer Ivan Tran - "Inner" collection

Coming to Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week 2024 , designer Ivan Tran introduced the "Inner" collection.

Miss Bui Quynh Hoa transformed diversely in two fashion shows (Video: Tien Bui - Minh Ong).

The collection features an impressive eccentric fashion style with "Avant Garde" designs (pioneering, even absurd in fashion).

Through the collection, a strong message about the journey of inner discovery and honoring inner beauty is conveyed.

With a strong warrior spirit, the designer brings the image of confidence, bravery and power of women.

Soft shades of white, cream and brown are skillfully handled, creating a strong and unconventional look, breaking the stereotype. The designs are not flashy or ostentatious, but every line and material depicts the beauty of extremely radiant "angels".

Sophisticated, elaborate details are combined with a free-spirited, unconventional style, creating a harmony between the free beauty and the symbolism of a true warrior.

Canifa brand - "Proud connection" collection

Returning to fashion week after 6 years, Canifa by Le Ha brand launched the collection "Connecting Pride", inspired by overwhelming patriotism.

Through the collection, Canifa brand aims for a dynamic, youthful and environmentally friendly lifestyle.

Throughout the collection are designs that convey messages of patriotism through many slogans. The youthful, vibrant streetwear designs, harmoniously combining tradition and modernity, create a fashion message that is typical of Gen Z (those born between 1997-2012).

Each design in the collection is meticulously invested in from materials to lines. It is the perfect combination of practicality, contemporary aesthetics with strict quality standards. From there, bringing fashion products that are both beautiful and sustainable.

The Mad Lab brand - "Dream weaving" collection

Always investing carefully in every appearance, The Mad Lab by Pham Tran Thu Hang brand once again impresses with the collection "Weaving dreams".

This collection is inspired by the fairy tale Tam Cam , combined with the horror folk material in the movie Cam .

With a modern and bold perspective, the brand has successfully exploited simple, rustic images such as ancient wells, lotus flowers, custard apples... to create unique and magical designs.

The color of each design changes over time, transforming from bright, pure white to dark and powerful shades such as black, wine red, etc.

The brand's designs this time mostly use shapes exploited from the five-panel, short-sleeved, double-breasted, ma tien, and yem shirts... of the Nguyen Dynasty, combined with modern shapes.

The brand also uses traditional hand embroidery techniques, accompanied by 3D printed accessories made from silk, brocade, velvet, taffeta fabric...
