Vietnamese Embassy in Qatar organizes Party Congress for the term 2025-2030

Vietnamese Ambassador to Qatar Nguyen Huy Hiep, Party Cell Secretary, presented the Political Report at the Congress.

On March 27, the Vietnamese Embassy in Qatar held the Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

The political report presented by Ambassador Nguyen Huy Hiep clearly stated that during the 2020-2025 term, the Party Cell actively and proactively implemented all aspects of work, thereby achieving some notable results as follows:

Firstly, the Party Cell regularly pays attention to and takes care of political and ideological education work. Party members always have a firm ideological stance and strictly comply with Party regulations.

Second, the Party Cell regularly strengthens Party building work through specialized meetings under the guidance of the superior Party Committee; actively participates in study sessions and dissemination of Resolutions and specialized topics organized by the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Third, the Party Cell always performs well the inspection and supervision work according to the content registered with the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the 2020-2025 term, no Party member was disciplined for violating Party discipline.

Fourth, the Party Cell regularly focuses on innovating leadership methods suitable to the local situation, ensuring the principle of democratic centralism, concretizing collective leadership and individual responsibility, and promoting the responsibility of the Secretary.

During the 2020-2025 term, under the leadership of the Party Cell, each cadre and party member has promoted a sense of responsibility for work, a sense of solidarity, learning, exchanging and supporting each other, promptly proposing and reporting difficulties and problems for joint resolution.

The Party Committee upholds the spirit of exemplary conduct, is the center of solidarity within the Party Cell, promptly gives directions and guidance on the implementation of Party resolutions and regulations, and at the same time urges and inspects the implementation of tasks assigned to members.

The Party Cell of the Vietnamese Embassy in Qatar has successfully completed assigned political tasks, contributing to the successful foreign affairs work of the Party and State in recent years.

The Embassy has supported and coordinated with domestic authorities, proactively contacted friendly agencies to successfully organize high-level visits between the two sides, typically the visit of Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan in 2023 and the visit of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in 2024.

Economic, cultural, press, consular and research diplomacy were carried out synchronously by the Embassy, ​​achieving good results. Citizen protection work was carried out promptly, providing quick support to resolve cases of Vietnamese citizens in Qatar facing difficulties.

Regarding the direction and tasks for the 2025-2030 term, Ambassador Nguyen Huy Hiep said that the Embassy Party Cell will continue to closely follow the instructions of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and domestic agencies, based on the practical situation of the locality, continue to promote the achieved results, overcome all difficulties, and strive to excellently complete the assigned tasks and targets.
