Don Duong District Front Congress

It is known that during the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in Don Duong district has strived to overcome all difficulties and challenges, focusing on successfully implementing the Resolution of the 9th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Don Duong district, most of the targets have been achieved and exceeded compared to the Resolution of the Congress.

Mainly focus on doing well the work of propaganda, mobilization, gathering, building and consolidating the great national unity bloc, encouraging the people to promote democracy and consensus, together with the Party Committee and the government to successfully implement the goals and tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security, Party building and the political system.

Actively participate in Party building, propaganda, and effectively implement the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels, term 2020 - 2025. Well implement the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the term 2021 - 2026. Gradually improve the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism, mobilize people to promote democracy, supervise the cultivation and training of ethics and lifestyle of cadres and Party members, fight against corruption and negativity, contribute to building the Party and building a strong government.

Coordinate well the implementation of propaganda work on the Party's guidelines and the State's policies on people's foreign affairs, promptly disseminate and inform about the foreign affairs activities of the Party and the State and policies to attract investment in the district. Proactively propose to the Party Committee and the government to strengthen leadership, coordination, and create conditions to improve the quality and effectiveness of activities. Timely consolidate and improve the organization, improve the capacity, role and responsibility of the Front's staff at all levels, to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

In the 2024-2029 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Don Duong district and all levels will continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation, diversify forms of propaganda, mobilization, gathering, and firmly consolidate the great national unity bloc. Well perform the functions and tasks of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people, promote democracy, improve the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism.

Participate in the fight against corruption and negativity, contribute to building the Party and a clean and strong government. Promote the role and responsibility of member organizations, committee members, and cadres of the Front at all levels.

Focus on grassroots and residential areas. Promote patriotic emulation movements, campaigns, mobilize all resources to participate in socio-economic development, build the homeland of Don Duong district to be increasingly rich, beautiful and happy.

The Fatherland Front from district to commune level strives that each unit annually implements at least one typical, exemplary, specific project or task in each residential area, contributing to building and serving the community, developing the local and grassroots socio-economy, and improving the quality of people's lives. Build and organize the appraisal and recognition of "Typical Residential Areas, Model Residential Areas" or "Solidarity, Self-management, Prosperity, Happiness" Residential Areas at the rate required by the Provincial Front.

Mobilize the construction of “Cultural Residential Areas”, “Cultural Families” and collect budget revenue to meet targets set by resolutions of Party committees and authorities. Organize the mobilization of resources to support the “For the Poor” Fund (meet the allocation target), strive to support the construction of at least 80 new Great Unity houses for poor households by the end of the term, and support the livelihoods of more than 40 near-poor households and households in difficult circumstances.

By the end of 2025, Don Duong district will have no more dilapidated or makeshift houses in the district; 100% of Fanpage Community pages will be exploited and used effectively; by the end of the term, 100% of the agencies of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels in the district will have installed and used information technology application software systems for common use in the commune, district, and province.

The congress elected 59 delegates to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Don Duong district, term X, 2024-2029, and sent a delegation to attend the Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front delegates of Lam Dong province. Mr. Le Dinh Thuy was re-elected Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Don Duong district, term 2024-2029.
