On the morning of April 10, Thanh Hoa City Business Association held its 2nd Congress, term 2024 - 2029.

Attending the congress were comrades: Le Duc Giang, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Manh Dong, Vice Chairman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), along with representatives of leaders of central ministries and branches; leaders of provincial departments, branches and branches; leaders of Thanh Hoa city; representatives of associations, business associations, industries, entrepreneurs inside and outside the province, and more than 500 members of the Thanh Hoa City Business Association.

During the past term, Thanh Hoa City Business Association has focused on connecting members; organizing many trade promotion programs, connecting trade, training and coaching to improve competitiveness for businesses.

Over the past 5 years, the association has recruited more than 300 members and is one of the business associations with the fastest growing membership and a large number of members in the province.

The association has always paid attention to connecting and visiting members, with the aim of building links in production relations and expanding cooperation. During its term, the association has organized nearly 50 programs to visit and work at member enterprises. Successfully organized monthly business coffee programs; training programs, coaching skills, management knowledge, communication, marketing are organized weekly to improve competitiveness and build brands.

Along with that, the association has supported businesses to promptly grasp the policies and guidelines of the State and the province; played a good role as a bridge between businesses and local authorities, promptly grasped and proposed solutions to many difficulties and problems for member businesses.

To date, the Association has attracted the participation of more than 500 business members. In recent years, despite being greatly affected by the pandemic and economic recession, the production and business activities of its members have still grown positively, contributing to job creation and promoting local socio-economic development. Over the past 5 years, the Association has also called for support of more than 5 billion VND for social security work and promoting education and talent in the locality.

With the motto "Solidarity - Innovation - Creativity - Development - Efficiency", in the 2024-2029 term, Thanh Hoa City Business Association will continue to innovate methods, improve the quality of operations; build a strong association in terms of quantity and quality, truly a common home, gathering, uniting, protecting the legitimate and legal rights of businesses and entrepreneurs. At the same time, continue to implement companion programs, support members to connect trade, build brands and connect, share values with the community, actively contribute to the socio-economic development of the locality.
The Congress passed the resolution and introduced the Executive Committee of the Association for the 2nd term, 2024-2029, consisting of 72 businessmen. Businessman Nguyen Van Thanh, General Director of Hop Luc Joint Stock Corporation, was re-elected as Chairman of the Thanh Hoa City Business Association.
Comrade Le Duc Giang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented flowers to congratulate the Executive Committee of Term II, 2024-2029.
On this occasion, many groups and members of Thanh Hoa City Business Association were awarded for their positive contributions to the local socio-economic development.
Individuals were rewarded for their outstanding achievements in association work.
At the congress, the Quang Tri Province Young Entrepreneurs Association donated 20 million VND to the Thanh Hoa City Business Association's social security fund; the Thanh Hoa City Business Association donated 300 million VND to social security work in Thanh Hoa City.
Individuals were awarded certificates by the Vietnam Private Hospital Association for their contributions to COVID-19 prevention and control.
Thanh Hoa City Business Association signed cooperation programs with the Association of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Abroad.
Thanh Hoa City Business Association has signed cooperation programs with the Association of Overseas Vietnamese Entrepreneurs and the Vietnam Association for Development of Corporate Culture, creating a foundation for the Association to continue to develop strongly in the new term.
