(CLO) On the evening of October 19, at the walking street of Son Tay Ancient Citadel (Son Tay town, Hanoi), Hanoi Concert - Doai Melody took place with the participation of thousands of domestic and international tourists.


Hanoi Concert is a series of art programs organized by Hanoi Radio and Television, with the desire to bring to the cultural, social and economic center of the Doai region a high-quality art program of chamber music.

After 16 years of Hanoi expanding its administrative boundaries, Ha Tay and Hanoi have become a unified cultural region in diversity. The cultural quintessence of the Doai region is still preserved and increasingly developed, intertwined and blended with the culture of Thang Long, to contribute to creating the richness and uniqueness of the capital's culture.

The Doai Melody program brings authentic musical works, including opera excerpts and some valuable works of Vietnamese music. This is a carefully prepared program with high artistic quality.

At the music night, the audience enjoyed famous works, conducted by Maestro Honna Tetsuji, such as: “Wind Blows in Four Directions”, composed by Tran Manh Hung, performed by Meritorious Artist Lan Anh - Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi and the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra; “Homeland”, composed by Tran Tien, arranged by Tran Manh Hung, performed by Meritorious Artist Lan Anh and the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra; “Blue Sky of Hanoi”, composed by Van Ky, arranged by Tran Manh Hung, performed by the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra…

Also at Doai Melody, the audience can experience the unique culture, beautiful landscapes, historical, cultural and religious values ​​of Doai land - the spiritual cultural region of Lac Viet with legends and myths about the land of two kings through the works: Son Tay Ancient Citadel - music by Le Dai Thang, lyrics by Nguyen Trung Son; Remembering Son Tay - composed by Tran Thanh Tung, performed by Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi; Homeland - composed by Tran Tien, arranged by musician Tran Manh Hung, performed by Meritorious Artist Lan Anh and the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra...

The night “Hanoi Concert - Doai Melody” attracted thousands of audiences from all over to Son Tay Citadel. The program helped honor the beauty of Vietnamese culture through songs about Son Tay, Hanoi and the country.
