Mr. Nguyen Kim Khiem said this is one of the first vocal competitions in Vietnam organized by a radio station. Over the course of three decades, many artists have emerged from here and left their mark on the country's musical life.

The prize is very attractive

According to information from the organizing committee, the entries were selected according to three musical performance styles: classical chamber music, folk music and pop music. The focus was on songs about Hanoi, especially songs associated with the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital.

The prize structure of the Hanoi Singing Contest 2024 is very attractive. The special prize will receive a total prize of up to 500 million VND (including cash and gifts). Meanwhile, the three first prizes in music categories are each worth 100 million VND.

In addition, the contest also has three second prizes, three third prizes, and five special prizes.

The semi-finals will take place from December 12 to December 15 and the final will take place on December 26 at Ho Guom Theater.
