Da Nang urgently completes items to put night tourism products into operation

NDO - Up to now, the construction units in the Bach Dang walking street (Hai Chau district) and night tourism services on Nguyen Van Troi bridge and the east bank park at the foot of Nguyen Van Troi bridge (Son Tra district) are urgently completing the final items. It is expected that Da Nang city will deploy and put into operation new tourism products to serve the people and tourists in early June.

According to reporters at the scene on May 28, construction units are urgently carrying out items such as road decoration, ornamental plants, and installing stalls on Bach Dang walking street, expected in early June 2024.

Expected to be a sightseeing and shopping destination for locals and tourists when coming to Da Nang, Bach Dang walking street is located in a prime location, on the extended Bach Dang street - the section from Dragon Bridge to Tran Thi Ly Bridge with a length of 1.2 km, connecting to Nguyen Van Troi Bridge. This is also the latest night tourism product that Da Nang city has assigned relevant units to build and deploy.

Dozens of workers are rushing to complete the miniatures on Bach Dang walking street.

Currently, the models and miniatures at Bach Dang walking street have been basically completed.

Bach Dang walking street will have 5 check-in points with unique models; additional trees, stone benches and decorative lights will be arranged... Along with that, there will be 3 parking lots, 2 toilets arranged around the walking street for the convenience of people and tourists to visit and experience the activities.

According to the traffic organization plan when the walking street is in operation, Da Nang City will use 1 lane on the east side of Bach Dang Street on weekdays, the remaining 3 lanes will be one-way, with signs indicating a speed limit of 40km/h and limiting motor vehicles by the hour. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, vehicles will be banned on the entire Bach Dang Street, from Binh Minh 10 Street to APEC Park.

Workers said that it is expected that in the next two days, the final decoration work on Bach Dang walking street will be completed and ready for handover to put into operation on schedule.

In addition, street vending, shoe shining, following tourists to force them to buy, force them to sell, begging, or asking for money in any form are also strictly prohibited.

Bach Dang walking street connects the pilot plan to organize services and serve night tourism on Nguyen Van Troi bridge and the East bank park at the foot of Nguyen Van Troi bridge, which is a highlight, creating new and attractive tourism products, enhancing the experience of tourists at night when coming to Da Nang city.

On May 28, Mr. Huynh Van Hung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Tra District, Da Nang, said that the district has planned to organize activities to launch night tourism services on Nguyen Van Troi Bridge and the East Bank Park at the foot of Nguyen Van Troi Bridge. Specifically, the program will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on May 31 at Nguyen Van Troi Bridge and the East Bank Park at the foot of the bridge, Tran Hung Dao Street (from the foot of Tran Thi Ly Bridge to the border of Bui Thi Xuan Street).

Son Tra district has completed lighting decoration in this area.

The activities aim to introduce, promote and attract a large number of locals and tourists to participate and experience night tourism services on Nguyen Van Troi Bridge and the East bank park at the foot of Nguyen Van Troi Bridge. Currently, workers are completing the sound and lighting items.

Nguyen Van Troi Bridge - the oldest bridge in Da Nang will be put into use as a pedestrian bridge to serve the people and tourists. And more than that, it is a bridge connecting the night tourism products of Da Nang - a friendly and hospitable tourist city and one of the 11 best destinations in Asia in 2024.
