Da Nang plans to invest in the construction of at least 102 commercial housing projects.

On April 13, according to the Office of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, the unit issued Decision No. 767/QD-UBND on approving the adjustment of the City's Housing Development Plan for the period 2021-2025.

Accordingly, for housing development in the 2021-2025 period, the average housing area by 2025 is expected to reach about 30.0 m2 of floor space per person. Of which, urban areas will reach about 30.4 m2 of floor space per person, and rural areas will reach about 27.2 m2 of floor space per person.

The minimum housing floor area by 2025 strives to reach 15-20 m2 of floor/person.

The location and area of ​​housing must be consistent with the List of investment projects according to the City Planning for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050; Hoa Vang Urban Master Plan; Urban zoning plans, Commune Master Plans or consistent with approved Construction Plans and Urban Plans. At the same time, it must be consistent with the housing development targets and orientations according to the approved Housing Development Program of Da Nang City for the period 2021-2030.

Regarding the development plan for each type of social housing in the 2021-2025 period, the City plans to invest in the construction of at least 25 projects with a scale of 11,569 apartments with 890,142 m2 of housing floor; it is expected to complete 7,097 apartments with 507,681 m2 of housing floor, including 148,104 m2 of rental housing floor.

During the implementation process, the People's Committee of Da Nang City will review, adjust and supplement projects to provide housing funds for the 2021-2025 period and the 2026-2030 period.

For commercial housing, the locality plans to invest in the construction of at least 102 projects, 68,699 apartments with 9,928,764 m2 of housing floor; it is expected to complete 46,187 apartments with 7,189,651 m2 of housing floor.

For housing for households and individuals, it is expected to invest in building about 23,216 units; it is expected to complete about 21,105 units.

According to the City People's Committee, the city's housing development plan for the 2021-2025 period aims to specify the city's housing development targets according to the Housing Development Program for the 2021-2030 period and the Project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the 2021-2030 period".
