Metro confirmed that beauty Judy Fitzgerald suddenly passed away in her native Ireland on May 27. The cause of death has not been announced. According to reports, Fitzgerald was 32 years old.

The obituary read: "Judy Fitzgerald has passed away. It is with great sadness that I think of her loved ones, Judy's parents Liam and Imelda, her sister Lucy, her brother William, her brother-in-law Pedro, and the rest of the Fitzgerald family. They are in great pain. Rest in peace, Judy."
On her personal page, designer Venera Tabakin expressed her condolences : "I hope Judy Fitzgerald passes away peacefully, my little model and close friend, a famous star in Ireland."
Fitzgerald's funeral will take place on 1 June at St Nessan's Church, Raheen. Her body will then be buried at Castlemungret Cemetery.

Judy Fitzgerald was crowned Miss Bikini Ireland 2014, and then represented Ireland at the international competition in Cancun, Mexico. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she competed on the World Beauty Fitness and Fashion Pro-International Next Level World Tour and was crowned European Fitness Model Champion 2019.
Before that, Fitzgerald was a model, participating in shows at New York Fashion Week. She also hosted interviews with designers at fashion events in Times Square, Manhattan. "This is a dream for me," she shared at the time.
Metro added that in addition to her artistic work, this beauty also earned a bachelor's degree in Nursing at Cork University Hospital, before moving to Limerick to work as a midwife. When the epidemic broke out, she and her colleagues worked on the front lines of University Hospital Limerick.
