On the morning of August 23, the People's Procuracy of Thanh Hoa province organized a contest "Handling situations in resolving civil and commercial cases".

The contest was held in person and online with the participation of 218 candidates who are deputy chief prosecutors, junior prosecutors, and professional prosecutors of the People's Procuracy at district, town, and city levels.

Candidates participate in the written exam, with 180 minutes to complete the exam on a computer at their workplace. After the allotted time, candidates email their exam papers to the organizers. The exam is based on hypothetical situations of civil and commercial cases, from which candidates research their views on how to handle the case.

It is known that after the competition, the Provincial People's Procuracy will organize a conference to evaluate the results, draw lessons, and answer questions and difficulties of officials and prosecutors in handling civil and commercial cases.

The contest is a useful playground, demonstrating the attention of the leaders of the People's Procuracy of Thanh Hoa province to the work of training, fostering, and improving professional skills for the team of civil servants and prosecutors as well as promptly detecting capable factors to focus on training, planning and appointment; creating conditions for prosecutors to have the opportunity to demonstrate their capacity, exchange experiences and draw lessons for themselves to improve the quality of handling situations in resolving civil and commercial cases and matters.
