Control Case awarded the highest level of international security certificate PCI DSS to 6 services of VNPAY

VNPAY has just received the highest level of international security certificate PCI DSS 4.0 level 1 for 6 services VNPAY Cloud - Cloud Service Provider, VNPAY Payment Gateway, VNPAY SmartPOS, VNPAY SoftPOS, VCB Tap to Phone, Token Service Provider Solution VNTAP from the international assessment organization Control Case.

To achieve this certification, VNPAY's services have complied with 12 strict PCI DSS assessment standards, ensuring the following 6 groups of goals: Building and maintaining a secure network system, protecting payment card data, maintaining a security vulnerability management program, implementing solid access monitoring measures, regularly monitoring and testing the network system, and maintaining information security policies.

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a mandatory information security standard for businesses that store, transmit and process payment cards. Managed by five international payment organizations: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and JCB, this standard is established by the PCI Security Standards Council. PCI DSS represents the highest level of protection for payment card data of service providers.

PCI DSS 4.0 imposes stringent requirements for the verification of information security risk assessment and scope, with a particular emphasis on the protection of cardholder data. This requirement includes continuous improvements to protect cardholder data across the entire network. In addition, based on technology trends and recent hacker attack methods, PCI DSS adds requirements related to multi-factor authentication, anti-phishing and social engineering, as well as expanded requirements for cloud computing technology and services.
