Da Nhim - Ham Thuan Hydropower Joint Stock Company

As a business located in the three provinces of Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan and Lam Dong, in addition to making efforts to produce and trade electricity, Da Nhim - Ham Thuan - Da Mi Hydropower Joint Stock Company (DHD) always actively performs well in social security work and focuses on its obligation to pay the local budget.

Da Nhim - Ham Thuan - Da Mi Hydropower Joint Stock Company is currently managing and operating hydropower plants including: Da Nhim (240MW), Song Pha (7.5MW), Ham Thuan (300MW), Da Mi (175MW) and Da Mi Solar Power Plant (47.5MWp). Every year, the Company supplies an average of 2.7 billion kWh to the national grid. Following the policies and orientations of Power Generation Corporation 1 (EVNGENCO1), in 2023, the Company will closely coordinate with relevant levels and sectors in the three provinces of Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan in the process of implementing production and business tasks to complete the set plan, thereby contributing to the overall development of these localities.

Company staff and workers strive in operations

Accordingly, in 2023, the hydrological situation on Don Duong and Ham Thuan hydropower reservoirs was relatively favorable. The water flow to Don Duong and Ham Thuan reservoirs was higher than the average of many years. With a stable system of construction equipment, the entire Company produced 3.10 billion kWh of electricity, of which hydropower plants produced 3.04 billion kWh and Da Mi solar power plant produced 62 million kWh. With this output, the Company provided Ninh Thuan province with 735 million m3, Don Duong district, Lam Dong province with 120 million m3 and Binh Thuan province with 1.8 million m3 of water to run the machine and maintain environmental flow, serving daily life and agricultural cultivation. The positive results of production and business tasks have helped DHHD Company successfully fulfill its obligation to pay the local budget. Specifically, in 2023, the company paid the local budgets of these 3 provinces with a total value of more than 758.7 billion VND through related taxes and fees including: Corporate income tax, value added tax, resource tax, personal income tax, land rent, business license tax, forest environmental service fee, water resource exploitation right fee... In Binh Thuan province alone, the Company paid 285 billion VND to the provincial budget through taxes and fees.

In addition, the Company always strives to operate, repair and maintain generators, ensuring safe and continuous electricity production, meeting the operating methods of the National Power System Control Center. In production, the Company also promotes the application of information technology and promotes technical innovation initiatives in management, production and business, bringing many practical results. In addition, DH Company always focuses on community relations to contribute to improving the lives of people in the areas where factories are built and sharing difficulties with local authorities in social security work. Every year, the Company starts social security activities from the program "Spring of love, Tet warm heart" to send gifts to families in difficult circumstances as sending the warm feelings of staff and employees to local people before the New Year.

Spring 2024 has come, each officer and worker of the Company continues to work day and night silently to ensure continuous electricity supply and abundant water source for downstream.
