Recently, Kinh te & Do thi Newspaper received a report from Mr. Le Sy Hung (house number 4, lane 18 Tran Khat Chan dike, Thanh Luong ward, Hai Ba Trung district) about the adjacent household - house number 2, lane 18 Tran Khat Chan dike organizing renovation and construction in violation of legal regulations, affecting the adjacent households and the lives of people in the area.
Specifically, speaking with Kinh te & Do thi reporters, the representative of house number 4, lane 18 Tran Khat Chan dike, said that during the renovation and repair process, the owner of the project - house number 2 blatantly blocked the drainage gutter and built on top of the fence of Mr. Le Sy Hung's family... "When discovering the violation, my family repeatedly asked the owner of the project number 2, lane 18 Tran Khat Chan dike to come and discuss to find a solution. However, the investor deliberately avoided and continued to organize construction in violation of regulations" - the representative of house number 4 informed.
Faced with the above situation, on August 6 and 15, 2025, the family submitted a petition to the People's Committee of Thanh Luong Ward requesting consideration and resolution.
However, according to feedback from homeowner number 4, on October 17, 20, and 22, 2024, homeowner number 2 locked the door and illegally constructed inside.
Regarding this issue, speaking with Kinh te & Do thi reporters, Chairman of Thanh Luong Ward People's Committee Nguyen Van Khang said that the Ward People's Committee has received information reflecting citizens and is directing relevant units to inspect and handle according to the provisions of law.
According to the Chairman of Thanh Luong Ward People's Committee, in order to resolve the conflict, the Ward People's Committee requested family number 2, lane 18, Tran Khat Chan dike to temporarily stop construction; at the same time, organize a working session between the relevant parties to find a solution.
Referring to the information that the owner of house number 2, lane 18, Tran Khat Chan embankment is still secretly organizing construction, Chairman of Thanh Luong Ward People's Committee Nguyen Van Khang said that the Ward People's Committee has directed functional units such as: Urban Construction Order Management Team, Ward Police... to strengthen inspection, organize construction barriers to prevent investors from intentionally bringing in workers to organize construction when conflicts have not yet been resolved.
Faced with the above situation, we request the functional forces of Thanh Luong ward, Hai Ba Trung district to urgently intervene, inspect, and strictly handle violations (if any) to ensure people's lives, the strictness of the law... Thereby, creating deterrence and preventing similar cases from occurring.
