Announcement of the decision to merge the Provincial Radio and Television Station into Lang Son Newspaper

On the afternoon of April 1, the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee announced the decision to merge the Provincial Radio and Television Station with Lang Son Newspaper into Lang Son Radio and Television Station, directly under the Provincial Party Committee, from April 1; and announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on personnel work of this agency.

The Organizing Committee announced the decision of the Standing Committee of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Dong Bac, Director of Lang Son Provincial Radio and Television Station, to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station; announced the decision on the transfer and appointment of Deputy Editors-in-Chief of Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station.

According to the Project to merge Lang Son Radio and Television Station into Lang Son Newspaper to form Lang Son Radio and Television Station, the organizational structure of the new agency includes an Editor-in-Chief and 5 Deputy Editors-in-Chief; 8 specialized departments. The total number of staff of the new agency is 117 people; after the merger, 5 affiliated departments, one agency head, 5 department-level leaders, and 27 officials were reduced.

At the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Lang Son province Doan Thi Hau requested that the Provincial Newspaper and Radio and Television Station quickly stabilize their organization, perform well their assigned functions and tasks; maintain the principles, purposes and missions of the press agency, closely follow major and topical issues of the country and locality to propagate, contribute to building and rectifying the Party and the political system, protect the Party's ideological foundation, and fight against erroneous viewpoints.

The provincial Newspaper and Radio and Television Station promote the spirit of creativity and innovation, produce many quality information products, orient public opinion, and spread positive information; in particular, pay attention to building a team of journalists with strong political will, good moral qualities, and good professional qualifications to meet increasingly high requirements in the new period./.
