Announcing the decision to recognize Thieu Toan commune as meeting advanced new rural standards

Overview of the ceremony.

Over the past years, the Party Committee and People of Thieu Toan commune have overcome difficulties and have had many good and creative ways to build new rural areas and advanced new rural areas.

Up to now, the commune has completed 19/19 criteria of advanced NTM commune. Rural infrastructure is complete and synchronous; environmental protection work has clearly changed, the landscape is bright, green, clean and beautiful; political security and social order and safety are maintained.

Average income per capita reached 65.5 million VND/person/year. The rate of trained workers reached 81.8%; the rate of workers with regular jobs reached over 95%. The multidimensional poverty rate decreased to 0.14%. The rate of people participating in health insurance reached 98.61%. The commune has 1/5 villages meeting the model new rural standards; built 1 3-star OCOP product.

To build advanced new rural areas, in 2 years (2024-2024), Thieu Toan commune mobilized over 107.3 billion VND, of which 2.8 billion VND came from the central, provincial and district budgets, and 37.5 billion VND from people's resources to build housing projects and upgrade works. In particular, the people of the whole commune donated 1,346.2 ^m2 of land to expand roads.

From the achieved results, on January 3, 2025, the Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to recognize Thieu Toan commune as meeting advanced NTM standards in 2024.

Leaders of Thieu Hoa district awarded a certificate of recognition for the commune meeting advanced NTM standards along with rewards from the Provincial and District People's Committees to Thieu Toan commune.

At the ceremony, authorized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Thieu Hoa District People's Committee Hoang Trong Cuong presented the decision to recognize the commune as meeting advanced NTM standards and awards to the officials and people of Thieu Toan commune.
