On March 4, a representative of the Traffic Police Department of Hanoi Police said that the Commune Police of 17 districts and Son Tay town have implemented the work of registering and issuing license plates for cars, motorbikes, and specialized motorbikes.

Accordingly, the commune police in 17 districts including Soc Son, Dong Anh, Chuong My, Ba Vi, Gia Lam, Thanh Tri, Thuong Tin, Hoai Duc, Me Linh, Phu Xuyen, Thanh Oai, Thach That, Ung Hoa, My Duc, Quoc Oai, Phuc Tho, Dan Phuong and Son Tay town receive registration and issue license plates for cars, motorbikes, and specialized motorbikes for organizations and individuals with headquarters and residence in the area.

For 12 inner-city districts, each district will have a ward police unit to register motorbikes and scooters. Specifically:
