AFP news agency reported on November 4 that former US President Donald Trump's son, Eric Trump, has just finished a two-day court appearance in New York state (USA) in a civil lawsuit accusing the family's Trump Organization of business fraud.
Eric Trump said his father "will definitely be here" for the November 6 hearing: "I know he's very excited to be here. And he thinks this is one of the most unbelievable injustices he's ever seen."
This is expected to be the first time Mr. Trump has provided public testimony in all of the civil and criminal trials he faces.

Leaving the Manhattan courtroom on November 3, Mr. Eric Trump condemned the case as "a huge waste of taxpayer money."
"We did absolutely nothing wrong. We have a better company than they can imagine," he asserted.
Mr. Eric (39 years old) and his brother Donald Trump Jr. (46 years old) are vice presidents of the Trump Organization, a group consisting of a network of companies that manage residential buildings, office buildings, luxury hotels and golf courses around the world.
The company is accused of inflating its assets by billions of dollars to benefit from loans and insurance policies. Mr. Trump and his sons are not at risk of jail time in this case, but they face fines of up to $250 million and the possibility of being forced to step down from the family business.
