Along the more than 10km long coastline, from early morning to early afternoon, when the tide is low, people bring homemade rakes, about 1.2 to more than 2m long, with net bags attached at the bottom, wade into the shallow sea 20-50m from the shore, about 20-60cm deep to rake and catch snails and shrimp mixed in the sand.

The working atmosphere on the beach was extremely bustling. Despite the sunny weather, big waves and strong winds, people were still diligently raking to catch snails. Large sacks were quickly filled with snails, tied tightly and gathered right on the shore for traders to come and buy.

According to the reporter, many families have collected from 600kg to more than 1 ton of snails in just one morning. After being brought to shore, these snails will be packed into large sacks and sold on the spot to traders for about 3,000 VND/kg.
