Notably, the benchmark scores for most majors have increased sharply compared to last year, with some majors increasing by up to 10 points. For example, the transport exploitation industry (majoring in transport management and business) has a benchmark score of 24.75 this year, while last year it was only 15 points. Telecommunications electronics engineering and transport economics (majoring in maritime transport economics) have increased from 15 to 24.75. In particular, the control and automation engineering industry has increased by 10 points, from 15 in 2022 to 25 this year. Many other industries have benchmark scores that have increased by 7-8 points compared to 2022.

According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, before 5:00 p.m. on August 24, universities will enter admission scores and admission results into the system to announce the first round of admission results.
From August 24 to before 5:00 p.m. on September 8, candidates must confirm their admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's system. All successful candidates must confirm their admission. If they do not confirm their admission within the specified time, the schools will consider the candidate as refusing to enroll and remove him/her from the admission list.
