In Xuan Lai commune, Chairman of the People's Committee Trinh Ba Hien said: "To effectively implement the movement "Lighting up the countryside roads" associated with effectively implementing the model of bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe residential areas, the commune has allocated 3 billion VND from the budget to invest in more than 3km of high-voltage power lines to light up the main roads, which has been supported by the people. At the same time, the movement is being expanded to every alley with 15km of power lines to light up the countryside roads."

In many other localities in Tho Xuan district, the movement to build bright electric roads has really had a strong influence. According to the report of the district People's Committee, the whole district has deployed and expanded to 274 branches of mass organizations. Thereby, 557 poles and light bulbs have been installed; 12,800m of power lines have been repaired and installed. The implementation cost was supported by the people with about 192 million VND. From the illuminated power lines, people's lives have changed significantly; social evils and traffic safety have been ensured.

Along with effectively implementing the movement "Lighting up the countryside", Tho Xuan district also directed localities to pay attention to launching many meaningful and practical activities such as: Collecting waste; planting flowers and trees along the road; launching "Green Sunday"...

In Xuan Lap commune, leading us on colorful flower roads, admiring Thai-roofed houses, Party Secretary of Trung Lap 2 village Do Huy Nhat excitedly said: "The bumpy, rugged dirt roads of the past have now been concreted. In particular, when implementing the plan to ensure environmental sanitation and build a green - clean - beautiful rural landscape, each residential cluster in the village has been bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe. 100% of households agreed and each family actively planted green fences, flowers, ornamental plants, and disposed of garbage in the right place."

Vice Chairman of Tho Xuan District People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Hai said: Aiming to build and implement a sustainable, civilized and modern rural society, implementing Resolution No. 05-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee, Tho Xuan District has been widely implementing the model of bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe residential areas in many localities. Accordingly, the construction of the model is carried out to ensure the criteria in each residential area, including: Maintaining all achieved targets and striving for higher quality. Strive for each commune to plant at least 60% of the length of flower roads, green fences and green tree roads. The rate of households classifying solid waste strives to reach 80% or more and have separate bags and bins for garbage. The rate of households collecting and treating domestic wastewater by appropriate and effective measures reaches 50% or more. The rate of domestic waste collected, transported and treated reaches 98.6%. 90% of commune roads, village roads, and alley roads have lighting. 100% of commune roads passing through residential areas have drainage ditches. 100% of commune roads are concreted or asphalted. 100% of complicated security and order points in the area are installed with surveillance cameras, in which each village and neighborhood mobilizes people to install at least 5 surveillance cameras in residential areas"...

To continue to maintain the effectiveness of the achieved results, the Standing Committee of Tho Xuan District Party Committee has directed Party committees, authorities at all levels, agencies, units, Party cells and residential areas in the district to step up propaganda work to all classes of people about the meaning and importance of the environment and the awareness of voluntarily complying with the provisions of the law on environmental protection. Maintain and continue to effectively implement movements and campaigns for a green - clean - beautiful environment; build and replicate cluster and point models in environmental sanitation work in the area. Strengthen coordination between authorities at all levels and mass organizations to effectively implement environmental sanitation work at the grassroots level; at the same time, strengthen inspection, detection and handling of environmental violations.
