As of 5:00 p.m. on July 30, 2024, the time the online registration portal was closed, the general admission support system of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) recorded a total of more than 733,000 candidates who had entered their admission wishes, equivalent to 68.5% of the number of candidates registering for the 2024 high school graduation exam.

According to the plan, after the end of the admission fee payment period, the Ministry of Education and Training will carry out the virtual filtering work. The virtual filtering will be carried out 6 times between August 13 and 5:00 p.m. on August 17, 2024.

The Ministry of Education and Training requires schools to announce admission scores no later than 5 p.m. on August 19. Each candidate will only be admitted to one highest choice.

Recently, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry announced its plan to announce admission scores based on high school graduation exam scores in 2024 on August 18.

The school has also announced the minimum score based on the high school graduation exam results at the Ho Chi Minh City campus is 18 points for the English enhancement program. For the standard program (not applicable to Pharmacy), the minimum score is 19 points.

At Quang Ngai branch, the threshold for ensuring input quality for all majors is 17 points. For Pharmacy, the threshold for ensuring input quality is implemented according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

The threshold to ensure input quality is the minimum score (without coefficient) of candidates who are high school students in region 3 for each admission combination of 3 exams/subjects.
