Teacher Truong Thi Yen (born in 1987 - Thach Ha Primary School, Ha Tinh City) is loved by her colleagues and students for her dedication to her job. She also makes an impression by playing sports very well, especially table tennis.

Graduated from the Faculty of Primary Education (Vinh University), in 2009, Ms. Yen was assigned to teach at Ky Loi Primary School (Ky Loi Commune, Ky Anh Town). As a young teacher, just starting out in the profession and facing many difficulties, Ms. Yen always strives to improve her professional qualifications, worthy of the title "ferryman on the river of knowledge".
She has tried to bring love, enthusiasm and knowledge to impart to students. Thanks to that, the classes she has been in charge of always achieve good results, students enjoy participating in class activities, promoting positivity, dynamism and creativity.

After more than 7 years working at Ky Loi Primary School, in 2017, Ms. Yen transferred to Thach Ha Primary School. In the new environment, with dedication, enthusiasm and support from the school board and colleagues, Ms. Yen has strived to excellently complete all tasks.
For many years, Ms. Yen has been recognized as a grassroots emulation fighter and an excellent homeroom teacher. Most recently, she won first prize in the city-level competition for excellent homeroom teachers for the 2022-2023 school year.

Interestingly, before becoming a teacher, Ms. Yen was a famous table tennis player.
“I started playing table tennis when I was in 3rd grade. My father and sister taught me this sport to improve my health, but the more I played, the more addicted I became. When I was in 5th grade, I participated in the Phu Dong Sports Festival at the provincial level and won a gold medal in the women's singles event.
After that gold medal, I was selected to join the table tennis talent team of the provincial Sports Training and Competition Center. After training with the team for 2 years, the team was disbanded and I returned to my hometown to continue secondary school. In grades 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12, I won gold medals in table tennis at the provincial Phu Dong Sports Festival, and in grade 11, I won silver medals," Ms. Yen shared.
Ms. Yen participated in many table tennis tournaments and won many high prizes.
During her 4 years at Vinh University, Ms. Yen participated in the school's table tennis tournaments and won first prize. Currently, Ms. Yen is a familiar face at the Ha Tinh Newspaper Open Club Table Tennis Tournament. Twice participating in this tournament, she excellently won 4 medals (2 gold medals, 2 silver medals in individual and team competitions). In addition to table tennis, Ms. Yen also plays volleyball and badminton well, and for many years she has represented the school in industry sports competitions.
Ms. Yen and her teammates won the gold medal in the women's doubles category from 36 to 50 years old at the Ha Tinh Newspaper Open Club Table Tennis Tournament in 2023.
The female teacher confided: “I have been involved in table tennis for nearly 30 years. For me, sports are both a passion, a way to improve my health, relieve pressure from my professional work, and a place to meet and interact with people who share the same interests.”
Ms. Truong Thi Yen is a responsible teacher, with solid expertise, dedicated to her work, and trusted by students, parents, and colleagues. For many years, she has been awarded the title of excellent homeroom teacher and excellent teacher at the city level.
In particular, she is also very good at sports, loves arts, and always actively participates in school and industry sports activities.
