The "Vietnam - Hello! Saitama" festival with a series of cultural - entertainment - art - sports activities brings the Vietnamese community as well as local people colorful cultural experiences of both countries.
The festival also combines activities that recreate the atmosphere of the Vietnamese Mid-Autumn Festival, promising to bring a warm, family-friendly atmosphere to expatriates and Vietnamese families visiting the festival. This is also the first time a Vietnamese festival has been held in Saitama Prefecture, one of the localities where more than 40,000 Vietnamese people live, work and study.
At the festival, local people and Vietnamese families can experience activities such as making their own mid-autumn lanterns, carrying lanterns, enjoying moon cakes and Vietnamese dishes such as pho, bread, vermicelli, spring rolls, pancakes, coffee, etc.
Visitors can also immerse themselves in the exciting atmosphere of activities such as lion dance, dragon dance, shuttlecock kicking competition, martial arts performances, Japanese street circus performances...
Along with that are traditional ethnic art performances such as Chau Van singing, Bac Ninh Quan Ho singing, T'rung performance...
The highlight of the festival is the first Busking show stage in Japan with a new performance style and music enjoyment space by singers: Ngo Kien Huy, Sunni Ha Linh, Phuc Bo and the young band operating in Japan Kurrock bringing new and different experiences on September 2.
Besides, the Special Concert stage with the voices of Hong Nhung and Quang Dung and the band Kurrock promises to explode on September 3.
Within the framework of the event, the "Hello! Talent" Contest is an interesting sideline activity for young Vietnamese people in Japan.
