The story about the special Tet shared by Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy Trang (29 years old), commonly known as Chang, living in Xuan Loc District (Dong Nai) received a lot of love on social networks.
Cherish the moment with dad
The 5-minute clip posted by Ms. Trang tells the story of her journey to convince her father to take Tet photos with her for the first time, as well as the Tet moments of the father and son that touched many people.
For the first time in her life, Trang and her father took Tet photos.

The daughter confided that in 2021, her mother passed away from leukemia. It was the greatest pain and shock of her life that she could hardly describe in words. "In the beginning after my mother passed away, the atmosphere in the house became heavier because the lives of my father and sisters seemed to collapse.
My sister and I saw our father crying and felt sorry for him because he was lonely. So we encouraged each other and told ourselves to get up, take care of him and continue on the path ahead, even though it was not easy," the daughter recalled.
Originally living and working in Ho Chi Minh City, Trang returned to her home in Dong Nai to live close to her father to take care of him. After her mother passed away, she said she cherished every moment with her father.
That is why this year, on Tet holiday, she decided to take a Tet photo with her father, something she had never done in nearly 30 years of her life. However, when she proposed, her father did not agree, partly because he was afraid that his daughter would spend too much money, and partly because he was embarrassed to wear the ao dai.

"I cooked a delicious meal for my dad to convince him but it didn't work, so I decided to ask him out for coffee. When we got there, I rented an ao dai and told him I had already paid for it, and if I didn't take pictures it would be a waste, so he agreed," the daughter recounted.
Taking pictures of the Tet holiday with her father, capturing the special moments of the two of them, she was extremely happy. She could also feel it through her father's smile and eyes.
The most special Tet
Her mother passed away suddenly, Trang felt regretful for not being able to capture any moments with her mother. That was also the motivation for her daughter to want to capture many images with her father. Taking photos with her son for the first time, Mr. Hoang Si Thanh (59 years old) was extremely happy. For the father and daughter, this is one of the most special Tet holidays that they will never forget in their lives.
Ms. Trang is happy that the story of the father and son has received so much attention. She hopes that through the clip, she can spread positive energy about family affection, hoping that everyone will cherish the moments with their loved ones. "On the occasion of Lunar New Year, I wish you good health, happiness, and a happy life with your children and grandchildren. I hope you will always be happy, not sad because we are always by your side," she told her father.

This Tet holiday, she and her father visited her mother’s grave, made traditional cakes and jams from her hometown and welcomed a warm Tet. She also made dried bananas, a specialty of her hometown, which her mother used to make for the family every Tet holiday when she was alive.
Watching the clip, Bao Loan commented: "From childhood until my father passed away, I never took a picture with him. I feel so sad when I see your video!". "Looking at you makes me miss my father. I wish I could do this with him, but he left me 5 years ago!", Thu Thao emotionally shared.
