Within the framework of the program, a topic that attracted a large number of guests and participants was the workshop sharing stories of technology investment at large enterprises such as: CMC Technology Group, Austdoor Group; venture capital funds such as: BK Fund or Thinkzone... Thereby showing abundant support resources both financially and professionally for the startup/spinoff community in the current Vietnamese startup ecosystem.
The program attracted more than 120 delegates and guests.
Attending the program, Mr. Nguyen Duy Viet - Head of Investment, Mergers and Acquisitions Department of CMC Technology Group gave a presentation related to the topic of investing in startups in the field of Information Technology . CMC representative added that CMC has been focusing on investing in the technology sector: IoT, Cloud, Security, Big data - AI, Robotics... through searching and developing ideas, products, solutions and services on technology platforms. In 2017, CIF investment fund was established and operated under the venture capital model, with active support from CMC Technology Group. The fund has a scale of 50 billion VND, CMC will annually allocate at least 10% of profits from production and business activities to the fund.
Especially at the BK Investor Network 2023 program, guests have the opportunity to experience technology products provided by startups, listen to impressive presentations by 5 potential startup groups in the technology field. In addition, there are also investment signing activities and cooperation in research and technology development between many units and organizations.
