Thanh Hoa Club signs contract with Vietnam U23 player

Thanh Hoa Club confirmed the successful recruitment of striker Vo Nguyen Hoang from PVF-CAND Club under a loan contract until the end of the 2023 season.

The player born in 2002 has been training with his new team since the afternoon of June 30. He did not play in the first match of the return leg of the First Division between PVF-CAND Club and Long An, but decided to move to Thanh Hoa Club immediately.

However, the striker understands that he must compete fiercely to have the opportunity to play for Thanh Hoa Club. This team has the foreign striker duo Paulo Conrado and Bruno Cunha playing well in the attack. At the same time, Dinh Tung and Thanh Binh can also play well in the attack.

Vo Nguyen Hoang provides coach Velizar Popov with more options thanks to his strong physical foundation and ability to move widely and apply pressure well. Nguyen Hoang can be added right away in the match between Thanh Hoa Club and Hai Phong Club in round 13 of V-League.

Vo Nguyen Hoang is a player of the U23 Vietnam team. Four years ago, he was among the youngest players ever called up to the national team. This player was called up by coach Park Hang Seo to the U23 Vietnam team to prepare for the 30th SEA Games when he was only 17 years old.

Before the 31st SEA Games, Nguyen Hoang suffered an injury and had to miss the Games at home. At the 32nd SEA Games, this striker received attention from coach Troussier but was not called up because he was not on the preliminary list registered many months before.
