On the morning of May 24, the Palmeiras club's homepage confirmed the transfer of striker Willian Estevao to Chelsea. The Stamford Bridge team will sign a contract with the young Brazilian talent for 40 million Euros with 25 million Euros in additional fees in the summer of 2025, when Estevao turns 18.

This is a higher price than Chelsea expected. Mr. Todd Boehly - Chelsea Club President - initially agreed to pay only 34 million Euros without additional fees to Palmeiras. However, the team's leadership wanted to quickly close this deal, so they added 6 million Euros to complete the contract.

Willian Estevao is a Brazilian national, born on April 24, 2007. The 17-year-old star's preferred position is as a striker or right winger, and is left-footed. Estevao grew up in the Cruzeiro youth academy, before playing for the Palmeiras U17 team when he was only 14 years old.

Estevao's impressive performance earned him a chance to play in the Palmeiras first team in January 2024. After 22 appearances, the Brazilian striker scored a total of 7 goals for the team in all competitions, taking over the starting position on the right side of Palmeiras.

Coach Stefano Pioli says goodbye to AC Milan

In Italy, AC Milan's official website announced the departure of coach Stefano Pioli after a disappointing season. The 19-time Scudetto winner finished second in Serie A, but the gap between Milan and champions Inter was nearly 20 points.

Being eliminated early from the Champions League and National Cup tournaments is also the reason why Milan's Board of Directors and Coach Pioli decided to "go their separate ways".

Mr. Stefano Pioli was appointed head coach by Milan in 2019. The Italian coach has successfully led the Rossoneri to their first Serie A title after 10 years of waiting.

AC Milan have yet to identify the name that will replace Mr. Pioli on the coaching bench from the 2024/25 season.

Bayern Munich intends to "gut" its opponent

Bayern Munich just went through the 2023/24 season empty-handed. In order to reform the squad, the Bavarian giants are targeting Dani Omo (Leipzig) as their top transfer target for next season.

The Spanish midfielder's contract with RB Leipzig runs until 2027. If they want to sign Olmo this summer, the Bavarian giants will have to pay Leipzig a 60 million Euro release clause. This is an amount within Bayern's means, but still accounts for about 1/3 of the team's transfer fund this summer (200 million Euro).

Dani OImo is a player who grew up in La Masia (Barcelona) training academy.

Bayern's biggest rival in the race to sign Dani Olmo is Barcelona. The 26-year-old midfielder is a product of the prestigious La Masia academy, before playing abroad in Croatia and Germany.

In the 2023/24 season, Dani Olmo played a total of 25 matches for RB Leipzig, scoring 8 goals and having 5 assists.
