More than 1,500 disabled people in Thang Binh received support gifts

The Association of People with Disabilities (PWD) in Thang Binh reviewed the achievements of 27 years of operation of the Association of PWD in general, the outstanding results of Thang Binh district in coordinating the implementation of social security policies for PWD, and taking care of the lives of members.

In 2024 and the first months of 2025 alone, the Association has connected and mobilized more than 600 million VND, given gifts to more than 1,500 people with disabilities; mobilized 50 million VND to support livelihoods to help 11 disabled women members develop their economy and stabilize their lives.

Thang Binh currently has 1,470 disabled members participating in activities at the District Disabled People's Association, 6 commune and town associations and 1 district disabled women's club.
