The series of activities contributes to helping the public increasingly understand the great values ​​of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

On the morning of May 17, the State Records and Archives Department (Ministry of Home Affairs), in coordination with the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, organized a series of meaningful activities to celebrate the 133rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023) and 65 years since Uncle Ho lived and worked at the Stilt House in the Presidential Palace (May 17, 1958 - May 17, 2023).

At the event, the exhibition "Collection of President Ho Chi Minh's signatures and autographs from 1945 to 1969" was opened. The exhibition introduces more than 200 archival orders and decrees along with many autographed documents and nearly 80 documentary photos illustrating the 24-year historical period of his tenure as President of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. Director of the State Records and Archives Department Dang Thanh Tung said that the Department has selected orders, decrees and documents with autographs of President Ho Chi Minh from 1945 to 1969 to introduce to the public and visitors. Many orders with handwritten autographs or signatures of President Ho Chi Minh are evidence of his talented and wise leadership role in the early years of building the young state government, during the years of resistance to protect national independence, demonstrating his ideology of great national unity. Mr. Dang Thanh Tung emphasized: “Through the content of the original archives of President Ho Chi Minh's handwriting and signature at this exhibition, we have more practical conditions to learn, study and follow his working style and style of expression. At the same time, the exhibition also contributes to promoting and spreading the value of Ho Chi Minh's heritage to implement Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on continuing to promote "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style".

On this occasion, the State Records and Archives Department also coordinated with the Vietnam Post Corporation under the Ministry of Information and Communications to organize a special issuance ceremony of the postage stamp set "Uncle Ho's Stilt House in the Presidential Palace Area". The stamp set was designed by artist Le Khanh Vuong (Vietnam Post Corporation), and will be available on the postal network from May 17, 2023 to December 31, 2024. With a concise graphic design style, the stamp set depicts President Ho Chi Minh working in the stilt house; introduces the stilt house and outlines the landscape of the garden and fish pond around the stilt house. In addition, at the event, a discussion on "65 years of Uncle Ho's Stilt House in the Presidential Palace Area" was held with 35 presentations on the feelings and memories of individuals who participated in the conservation of Uncle Ho's Stilt House and served in the Presidential Palace Relic Site; the formation process and historical and cultural significance of the project.

The seminar also provided some information and documents related to Uncle Ho's Stilt House; opinions and proposals on the work of inventory, preservation, propaganda and promotion of the value of the relic of Uncle Ho's Stilt House. This series of meaningful activities will contribute to helping the public increasingly understand the great values ​​of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; making his ideology, morality and style truly become a solid spiritual foundation of social life, building Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of development and firmly protecting the Fatherland.
