(DN) - The project of connecting traffic routes No. 1 and No. 2 (T1, T2) to serve traffic connection for Long Thanh International Airport (airport) started construction in July 2023. According to the Prime Minister's request to speed up the progress, route T1 will be technically opened to traffic at the end of April.

According to the signed contract, the construction of the T1 and T2 routes will be completed by the end of 2025, however, the investor and contractor have accelerated the project implementation progress. Currently, the T1 route (the lower part of the road at the intersection between the T1 and T2 routes) has completed about 95% of the construction volume. Photo: Pham Tung

After being put into operation, Route T1 will connect from Long Thanh Airport to National Highway 51. From there, vehicles can travel along this route to go to Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway, Provincial Road 25B, Provincial Road 25C and Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City, connecting to Ho Chi Minh City.
