At the conference, youth delegates frankly exchanged and contributed ideas on development roadmaps and policies to support youth startups to develop the province's economy, culture and society.
The conference listened to 16 recommendations and proposals from young people to the provincial leaders and departments. The opinions mainly focused on issues such as difficulties for young people in accessing policy capital; applying digital technology in startups and applying it to work; preserving and promoting ethnic minority culture.


Secretary of the Youth Union of Phi Lieng Commune, Dam Rong District (Lam Dong) Vu Van Truong raised the issue that digital transformation is one of the important policies in the current period. However, people in ethnic minority areas, remote communes in particular, and Dam Rong District in general are facing difficulties in accessing digital applications. Although the youth have guided people, they still face many difficulties.
Representing the aspirations of Bao Loc City's youth, Bao Loc City Youth Union Secretary Nguyen Ha Thanh said that, according to " Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation" of the Politburo, he proposed opening classes to popularize digital transformation so that young people can access and systematically implement the set goals.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Tran Hong Thai highly appreciated the very exciting and effective dialogue. The conference listened to and exchanged 16 opinions from youth union members related to many fields.

The Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the locality pays great attention to state management of youth. In the coming time, the province will focus on policies and solutions to create conditions for young people to access start-up loans. At the same time, the province will coordinate with units to establish a start-up fund, organize seminars to meet and discuss opportunities for young people to start businesses.
"I myself have been to the villages in the province many times and have seen that young people are very proactive in displaying their stalls. However, young people need to proactively seek outlets for local handicrafts. Prove it with product quality," Mr. Thai emphasized.
The Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee suggested that the youth of the whole province continue to practice and educate their ideals. Regarding issues related to loan policies, he suggested that the Provincial Youth Union coordinate with the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Industry and Trade to organize seminars for large enterprises to help young people and young businesses.

In particular, young people are one of the important bridges, contributing to propaganda and support for people. Especially in ethnic minority areas, remote and isolated areas. Therefore, young people in the province need to be pioneers and proactive in cultivating digital transformation knowledge", the Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee emphasized.
Lam Dong province currently has more than 288,100 young people (accounting for 18.67% of the province's population). Of which, there are more than 142,500 young men and more than 145,600 young women. Up to now, the province has 4,263 youth union organizations (18 Youth Union organizations under the Provincial Youth Union, 411 grassroots youth union organizations and 3,836 youth union branches under the grassroots youth union).
