The Doc Da Trang Industrial Park Project was approved by the Prime Minister for investment policy in Decision No. 234/QD-TTg dated March 18, 2024 and was granted an investment registration certificate by the Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board. The investor is Viglacera Yen My Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company with an area of ​​about 288 hectares, of which nearly 204 hectares is industrial production land and warehouses with a maximum construction density of 70% and a maximum height of 5 floors.

The service area is over 4.2 hectares, including: commercial, medical, sports, worker accommodation, product display area, park, industries oriented to attract to the industrial park include clean industries, processing industry, high-tech manufacturing, precision mechanics, electronics, supporting industries, warehouses expected to attract about 16,000 workers with a total investment of over 1,807 billion VND, operating period of 50 years.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh asked the investor, Viglacera Yen My Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company, to promote available resources, focus on investment and construction to soon put the project into operation. The industrial park must be a smart, modern and sustainable industrial park, forming an industrial - innovation - urban - service - high-tech ecosystem; ensuring harmonious development with the community, infrastructure and knowledge-based economic development for the locality.

Since the beginning of 2024, when the project was approved by the Prime Minister for investment policy, the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province have directed the Management Board of Van Phong Economic Zone (EZ), the People's Committee of Van Ninh district, the People's Committee of Ninh Hoa town and relevant agencies to urgently implement the contents specified in the investment policy decision to soon put the project into construction and operation. The province has also always accompanied and supported investors in preparing documents related to environmental impact assessment reports, feasibility study reports and related procedures to speed up the project implementation progress.

Doc Da Trang Industrial Park project is the first pioneering industrial park in Khanh Hoa province to be implemented after the planning of Khanh Hoa province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 and the adjustment of the general planning for construction of Van Phong Economic Zone, Khanh Hoa province to 2040, with a vision to 2050 were approved.

The location of Doc Da Trang Industrial Park on National Highway 1A creates favorable conditions for transportation and logistics.

When the project comes into operation, it will contribute to accelerating the process of economic restructuring of the province towards industrialization and modernization; contributing to solving jobs, increasing income for workers, creating revenue for the state budget, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality in general and Van Phong Economic Zone in particular.
