
Reporting to the Supervisory Delegation, the Principal of Tay Nguyen University, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Truc, said that Tay Nguyen University plays an important role in training high-quality human resources to serve the socio-economic development of the Central Highlands region and the whole country.
The school trains 35 regular university majors; 11 master's degree majors, 1 level I specialist doctor training major, 5 doctoral degree majors with the scale and distribution of training majors according to the fields of educational science and teacher training; business and management; natural sciences, information technology, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry; health; humanities and social sciences.

Enrollment has increased gradually over the years (2020: nearly 54%, 2024: over 87%), especially in the health sector, educational sciences and teacher training, reaching 100%. The rate of students having jobs after graduation is nearly 86%. As of December 2024, the school has 635 staff (including 8 seconded staff), 29 of whom are ethnic minorities. In terms of professional qualifications, there is 1 professor, 15 associate professors; 109 PhDs, 2 level II specialists, 303 masters, 7 level I specialists... From 2021 to 2024, the school has 2 Associate Professors, 11 PhDs, 2 level 2 specialists, 24 masters, 2 level 1 specialists quitting and transferring jobs.
Sharing a major challenge of the school in recent times is the "brain drain", Dr. Nguyen Thanh Truc emphasized that in order to develop and use human resources to meet the requirements of socio-economic development and educational innovation, it is necessary to apply special support policies for lecturers working in the Central Highlands, such as housing support, living expenses, and regional allowances.

Along with that, it is necessary to synchronize recruitment policies between public and private schools so that public educational institutions can easily attract high-quality candidates; second highly qualified lecturers, especially in key fields such as information technology, medicine and applied sciences from leading higher education institutions to work for a limited time at higher education institutions in the Central Highlands, in order to exchange scholars, contributing to improving the quality of staff and training quality at schools; issue sanctions for cases of failure to fulfill training commitments.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Committee for Culture and Society Dinh Cong Sy highly appreciated the results achieved by Tay Nguyen University and the elaborate preparation of the report content for the meeting with the monitoring delegation.
Through the exchange and discussion at the working session, the Supervisory Delegation recorded a lot of information of practical value to continue to make recommendations to improve policies and laws on the development and use of human resources, including high-quality human resources and human resources in ethnic minority and mountainous areas. The Delegation will synthesize and study the recommendations of the school to continue to improve the legal framework, adjust and amend regulations related to human resource development.
