On the evening of December 14, at Ho Guom Theater - Hanoi, Nhan Dan Newspaper held the Human Act Prize 2024 Award Ceremony to honor 31 outstanding projects and ideas that have been inspiring dedication and commitment for a better future for everyone. Mr. Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front attended and spoke at the Award Ceremony.

Chairman Do Van Chien expressed his joy when knowing that the 2024 Community Action Award has gathered nearly 150 sustainable development projects, community contribution initiatives of domestic enterprises, organizations and individuals, in many fields, from equal education, community health and prosperity, poverty reduction, clean energy, sustainable business, responsible consumption and production... Many projects have been persistently implemented for many years, with results measured by convincing numbers and have the prospect of further expansion in scale and level of influence in the near future. Many projects are truly valuable in inspiring, helping the disadvantaged, giving wings to the dreams of the less fortunate, vivid evidence, further fostering the tradition of humanity, loving others as you love yourself of the Vietnamese people.

According to Chairman Do Van Chien, more than 30 projects that made it to the final round met the 5 core criteria of the Award, including: commitment; sustainability; creativity; impact and the ability to spread and inspire projects/ideas. Not stopping at volunteer activities, some projects have contributed to changing the face of an entire region, an economic sector, and even become models of green growth and sustainable development at an international level.

“Our Party and State always emphasize the importance of sustainable development in the process of national development and pay special attention to putting people at the center of sustainable development. To successfully achieve these goals, it is necessary to mobilize all social resources, strengthen coordination between ministries, branches, localities, agencies, organizations, unions, enterprises and each individual,” affirmed Chairman Do Van Chien.

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Do Van Chien expressed his belief that the projects awarded the 2024 Community Action Award will create strong motivation and inspiration for domestic organizations and individuals to participate more in the journey of development, digital transformation, and green transformation, contributing to the country's rapid and sustainable development in the new era - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.

"We also believe that the Community Action Award will continue to receive the support and cooperation of many businesses, organizations and individuals so that the core values ​​of the award and the noble gestures will spread more strongly and widely in society," Chairman Do Van Chien emphasized.

The theme of the 2024 season is “Community Creation”, which aims to promote the spread and connection of community activities, not only honoring outstanding initiatives but also encouraging the replication of effective models. At the same time, emphasizing the role of cooperation between large enterprises, organizations, and small volunteer groups in creating positive and sustainable changes.

Entering its second year, the Human Act Prize 2024 received 128 entries, with consistent quality and diversity in the fields of activity. The Human Act Prize 2024 ceremony honored 31 outstanding projects and ideas that have been inspiring dedication and commitment to a better future for everyone.
